Spinach harvesting this morning!  Somehow, this is the only type of greens that our resident groundhogs don’t like.  Does anyone know if groundhogs don’t eat spinach or did we just luck out?  @cvilleschools

A huge thank you to @uvasawmilling who stayed long after the career fair was over to keep milling logs into an amazing stack of lumber for us to use for building projects over the next year.  We are so grateful for their partnership!  @cvilleschools
What an amazing morning!  We hosted 65 third grade students from @greenbrierelementary to help them wrap up their unit on where their food comes from and it was a blast!  We had a lot of help from our friends from @cultivatecharlottesville and the Te
All the plant babies are tucked in for a cozy night in the makeshift greenhouse while the hoop house awaits repair.  Stay tuned tomorrow for coverage of us hosting 65 third graders at the school farm.  It should be a fun time!  @cvilleschools

So it seems like we had a dust Devil or something similar.  I’m not meteorologist, but it had all the signs.  Another teacher said she saw it cross the baseball field down the hill at the same time.  The good news is that we assessed the damage
This is insane!  I was closing things up around the garden (you can see me in the bottom right of the video) two minutes after school today when a swirling gust of wind circled across the garden out of nowhere and destroyed the hoop house!  Thankfull
